Handbooks

Each rank has a handbook that helps Cubs understand requirements and keep track of their progress. The handbook also allows you to help your Cub complete requirements at home if he or she misses a meeting or wants to work on an elective achievement. Handbooks are strongly recommended but optional for all ranks except Webelos (4th and 5th graders), who are required to use the Webelos handbook.

We may offer gently used books to incoming Cubs at no cost, if they are available. Each Cub who awarded their rank at the Blue and Gold Banquet will receive a complementary handbook for their next rank.

Uniforms

 

The Cub Scout uniform helps encourage a sense of belonging and personal neatness. It’s also how your Cub Scout will display his or her Cub Scouting achievements. Cub Scouts have two uniforms that are worn at different times. Our Pack requires Cubs to wear the field uniform shirt tucked in at all Cub Scout meetings within 4 weeks of joining the Pack.

Field Uniform (all but Lions)- The Cub Scout field uniform is the main uniform Cubs and adult leaders wear to meetings and events where Cubs are representing our Pack in the community.

  • Lions do not wear field uniforms. Lions wear the LION BSA shirt or the Pack T-shirt. Gently used uniforms may be available from our Pack.

  • Tiger, Wolf, and Bear Cubs wear the BLUE button up, shorts, belt, and neckerchief.

  • Webelos wear the TAN shirt, green shorts, green belt, and Webelos neckerchief.

Activity Uniform - The activity uniform is any Cub Scout-related t-shirt. Cubs wear this uniform for activities that might be messy or require more athletic clothing, like camping or hiking trips. Pack T-shirts can be purchased for $10 (cotton) and $18 (dri-fit).
